Urban sketching

Urban sketching som begrep dukket opp i et forum journalist og illustratør Gabriel Campanario startet i 2007. Forumet var "for all sketchers out there who love to draw the cities where they live and visit, from the window of their homes, from a cafe, at a park, standing by a street corner… always on location, not from photos or memory.”

Observasjonstegning i det fri har foregått i århundrer, men via sosiale medier har "urban sketching” spredt seg til hele verden og blitt et møtested for utallige tegnere som vil ut og tegne. Les mer her!
